The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia has decided to extend the implementation period of the State Program for the development of agriculture and regulation of agricultural products, raw materials and food markets for the period up to 2025.

For those who are just starting a business in agriculture or have not yet started, but plan to work in this field, the Agrostartup grant is provided. Unlike the option for a novice farmer, this type of support can be received by the owner of a private subsidiary farm, but only on condition that he registers the peasant household farming unit within 15 days after winning the competition.

Applicant for the "Agrostartup", as in the case with the support of a novice farmer, should not conduct entrepreneurial activity in the last three years.

Money is issued on the terms of co–financing, where 10% is the recipient's own funds. Preference is given to business plans for priority areas of agricultural development in the region when holding a startup competition.
